A Fish Finally Caught or A Tank Finally Hot or A Pepper Finally Picked
Just took a couple days and went out on my boat for a break. The things that our government are doing to its people just pisses me off to the point that I have to just unplug and get away. It was a good break. I did one thing I will not ever do again, I dragged a motor boat behind my sailboat because I wanted to do some serious fishing. I did the fishing but I was also unable to sail. The boat is just too damned heavy for my little boat to pull.....top speed with the currents help was 3 knots. That sucks the big banana. Some storms passed and the winds kicked up really nice and it would have been sweet to strut my baby in the wind. Oh well, lesson learned. Dinghy fishing from now on. :)
Big, big news on the S/V Take Five.......(drum roll)...I now have hot water on the boat. Hell Yeah !!!! :) I can now shower on the boat and washing dishes is going to be way more better. :) The relief valve has been wacked out since I had the boat. Finally got off my ass and ordered the "special valve" from Raritan. Just gotta love those "special" parts that boats need.
Trying to do some right things in my life as far as my aging body is concerned. Green Tea totally sucks ass. Period. I know it is great as hell stuff for you but come on, does it have to hurt the whole taste experience that bad?!? So I thought I would try this stuff. With a dab of splenda in the mix it aint that bad. Plus I am trying to commit to keeping green leafy veggies on the boat and using them. Something that my Capt. Marlay keeps ragging my ass about. Are you happy now? LOL :)

Ok, I am not going to lies about this. You know fishermen love to lie as the old tells go. I don't have a soul on this fucking planet I have to impress, thus I don't need to fucking lie. This is the very first Red Drum that I have caught that was legal. I have caught a lot of them outside of the "slot" but none in the slot. This was sweet and so long overdue for me. Lord knows I have tried for a long time to get this prize. I know it is weird but I don't eat a lot of fish. I contribute that to my lack of skills in cooking fish. But my person favorite is blackened Grouper. But Red Drum is number two for sure. And sometimes faced with the choice I will pick the Red Fish first. It is just that damn good. If you have never had Red Fish aka Red Drum, then get some. Once you go red you will never go White....he he he he. :)
